Popup Trailer Rental

Stay in an RV without the hassle of buying/renting an RV or of towing it. We now rent a Coleman Westlake popup trailer for use onsite only. You don't need to tow it up the mountain behind you. You don’t need to level it. It's just there when you arrive!

The popup is located at site 48A (located directly behind site 48, off Pine Street). It has two king size beds and a dinette folds that down into a double bed. It has a heater, a small refrigerator, and a propane stove (stove for outside use only). Electricity and water are provided. Site also includes a picnic table and a fire ring.

Because the popup does not have a sewer hookup, it does not have a toilet, shower, or sink. However, the popup is conveniently located close to the campground restrooms, where hot showers and flush toilets are available.

Boat docks are within walking distance, and a boat slip may be rented on a daily or weekly basis (subject to availability). Canoes, kayaks, and fishing boats are also available for rent.

Maximum occupancy of the popup is four adults and two children. As with all of our RV sites, the first four people are included in the price and the 5th and 6th people are charged at $5/night each. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

There is parking for one vehicle only at the RV site. If you will be bringing a second vehicle, you will need to inform the registration office, and the second vehicle must be parked in the overflow parking area. A maximum of two vehicles is allowed.

Please note that we require that all cooking be done outside the popup. You will need to bring pots/pans/cooking utensils and plates/mugs/cutlery. You will also need to bring bedding for two king size beds and/or one double bed. Some of the more basic items can be purchased at the North Shore store or at several retailers in Chester.

2010 Rates – Popup Trailer

$80* per night daily (2-night minimum; 3-night minimum on holiday weekends) or $500* weekly. Site rental fee included. Each rental includes one tank of propane (additional propane can be purchased on site).

A 50% deposit is due at time of reservation with remaining balance due 60 days prior to arrival. 60 days notice of cancellation required for refund of half of deposit (less than 60 days notice, entire deposit is forfeited). Check-in is after 3 p.m. and checkout is before 10 a.m. Refundable $250 cleaning/damage deposit due at time of check-in. The popup is available April through October.

* Plus Plumas County Transient tax of 9%.
