North Shore Campground - Lake Almanor, California

CHECK OUT TIME is 12 PM. Guests who don’t vacate by 12 PM will be charged an extra night’s stay. Check out time for cabins and popup is 10 AM. CHECK IN time is 1 PM for sites and 3 PM for cabins and popup. If you arrive after office hours, please check in at the office before 10 AM the following morning.

CAR PASSES must be clearly displayed in vehicle windows. Vehicles w/o a valid car pass will not be admitted to park.

SPEED LIMIT is 10 MPH. Many small children play in our busy park: speeding will not be tolerated.

QUIET HOURS are 10 PM to 8AM. Please be courteous to other guests. No noise should travel beyond the limits of your site once it is quiet time (no music, TV, loud talking, etc.) Loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. GENERATORS may not be used in the park at any time.

CHILDREN – Children are to be supervised. Parents/guardians are liable and responsible for the acts and conduct of their children. There is a 10:00 PM curfew for children under 18 years of age. After 10:00 PM, all children must remain with their parent/guardian on their assigned site.

SITE OCCUPANCY LIMITS – The max occupancy for an RV site is 6 people (4 adults max). One habitable RV/trailer/camper is permitted per RV site. The max occupancy for a tent site is 2 adults and up to 4 children (under 18). Max occupancy for cabins and popup trailer is 4 adults.

BICYCLE and SCOOTER RIDERS must observe the 10 mph speed limit and ride only on paved roads. Children under the age of 18 years must wear a helmet while riding a bicycle or scooter. Bicycles and scooters may not be ridden at night. SKATEBOARDS are not allowed.

VISITORS – Visitors not allowed except by pre-arrangement and pre-payment. If you haven't told us in advance that you expect visitors, told us their names and paid for them and their vehicles, they will not be admitted. IN NO CASE may visitors bring dogs or boats. If you are already at the max occupancy for your site you will be unable to accommodate visitors. Site occupancy limits include overnight guests AND visitors of any age. Visitors are $5/day to RV/tent-sites and $15/day to cabins. Visitors' vehicles may need to be parked in overflow parking. Visitors must leave the park by 9:00 PM.

ATVS/DIRT BIKES – Off road, and/or unlicensed motorized vehicles are not to be ridden in the park. Gas powered scooters and/or motorcycles must be registered and highway legal and can be used for park ingress and egress only.

TENTS are not permitted on RV sites. If you wish to pitch a tent, you must rent a tent site. Tent camping does not qualify for a monthly rate. Sleeping in cars or trucks is not allowed. Tarps may not be used as tents.

EXTRA VEHICLES/BOATS – We guarantee only that your site will be able to accommodate your RV and ONE tow vehicle (if applicable). If you come with, say, an extra truck, it may not fit on your site. If you come with two extra vehicles and a boat, they definitely won’t. Vehicles/boats that protrude beyond the edge of your site, or that are parked on roads and common areas, or that are deemed by management to constitute a hazard, are subject to towing. We have specific areas assigned for boat/trailer parking, and also a designated overflow vehicle parking area. Inquire at office as to their location if your site cannot accommodate your boats/extra vehicles.

CAMPFIRES – Fires must be controlled and with all wood completely contained in a fire ring. All campfires must be attended by an adult. Use fire rings at your own risk. You are responsible for any injury or property damage. North Shore Campground assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages incurred.

SMOKING not permitted in any building, including cabins, restrooms, laundry. Do not throw cigarettes on ground as this is a fire hazard.

PETS – All pets must be kept on a leash at all times and must be kept out of landscaped areas, including lawns. Pets are not allowed in cabins. Pet pens, cages, and kennels are not allowed. Owners must clean up after pets (bags are provided at several locations within the park). All animals are to be kept inside at night and are never to be left unattended. All pets are to be licensed with current vaccinations. A pet that exhibits aggressive behavior, barks or causes annoyance to other quests must be removed from the park immediately. Aggressive breeds such as Rottweilers and Pitbulls (call for list) and any dogs deemed aggressive by staff will not be permitted entry. North Shore Campground has sole decretion when any determination is made. By California law, you are strictly liable for any injuries caused by your pet.

CAMPSITES – Campers are responsible for keeping their campsite in an orderly condition. No site alterations (decks, awnings, etc) are allowed without management permission. No clotheslines permitted and no washing of RVs. Air conditioning left running when your site is unoccupied may result in a fee of $5.00 per day. You may not place satellite dishes outside the perimeter of your site. Do not cut through or trespass on other people’s sites. Leave your site as you would like to find it – free of debris. Move picnic tables back if moved.

SWIMMING/DOCKS – We have no lifeguard on duty and swimming is at your own risk. No diving or swimming around/from dock area. No playing on or around log boom. Only guests who have rented a boat slip are allowed onto the boat docks. Children are only allowed on docks when accompanied by a parent/guardian.

SITE INSPECTIONS – Management conducts inspections of all sites. Please note the following rules: outside refrigerators, permanent furniture, messy children's toys, or indoor carpet are not allowed. No tarps or clotheslines allowed. Unsafe, cluttered, or unsightly RV sites will not be tolerated. Washing of vehicles or RVs/trailers is not allowed. Sleeping outside of RV is not permitted. You may not place satellite dishes outside the perimeter of your site. We work hard to maintain a beautiful environment for all to enjoy. Please help us keep it that way.

COURTESY – Do not cut through or trespass on other people's sites. Please do not play sports where lanscaped areas may be damaged. Please leave your site as you would like to find it. Agression, profanity or violence towards our staff will not be tolerated.

TELEPHONE ACCESS – Pay phones are located outside the campground office.

MAIL – We will accept incoming packages and mail at the campground office for registered guests. At no time can North Shore Campground serve as a guest's permanent address.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES – coin operated laundry machines are located on the west side of the campground office. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM (last load must be started by 6:00 PM).

SITE SELECTION – Though we make every attempt to accommodate guests' requests for a particular site, we reserve the right to switch your assignation without notice when this becomes unavoidable.

EVICTION FROM THE RESORT – Failure to pay in advance for occupancy or failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations current in effect is grounds for eviction without refund and refusal of future admittance. Any variation from the rules and regulations will result in removal of your RV without judicial hearing after the service of a 72-hour notice pursuant to Civil Code section 799.22.

SECURITY – Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Please keep your valuables locked up. Please report any problems with your site to the campground office immediately. North Shore Campground adheres to and maintains all sate, county, and local laws on property. The legal age for alcohol consumption is 21 years.

PAYMENT – ALL charges for your stay are due in advance. No refunds for early departures. Please note that you will be required to pay for the entire period you have reserved. If you book for 3 days, but decide that you can only stay for 2, you still need to pay for the 3 days that you reserved.
